Overview of Ia Pet – Dak Doa 1 Wind Power Plant and Ia Pet – Dak Doa 2 Wind Power Plant
The Ia Pet – Dak Doa 1 Wind Power Plant and Ia Pet – Dak Doa 2 Wind Power Plant projects are the two largest wind power plants in Gia Lai province, with a total capacity of 198MW. The plants are located in the districts of Dak Doa and Pleiku City and were approved and planned in June 2020, entering commercial operation by the end of October 2021.

We are present at the Ia Pet – Dak Doa 1 & 2 Wind Power Plant to carry out turbine blade inspections. We have deployed inspections on the outer and inner surfaces of the wind turbine blades.
Immediately, the MBWIND team on-site timely detected damages on the blades. Using specialized inspection methods, MBWIND assessed the damage to the turbine blades, examining conditions such as corrosion, cracks, and deformations caused by various factors. This process involved collecting visual data on damage, including paint layer thickness, blade strength when damaged, corrosion level, stiffness, material thickness, coating condition, etc. Based on this information, MBWIND determined the causes, classified the damages, and coordinated efforts to restore them. MBWIND engineers, equipped with the necessary blade repair certifications, promptly repaired the damages on the wind turbine blades, putting them back into operation immediately.
