PAINT AND REPAIR BLADE PROJECT IN BEN TRE PROVINCE – VIETNAM
On account of operating with the slogan: “No matter where you are or what you need, we are always here for you“, MBWIND is ready to serve customers all over Vietnam. Thereby, based on that promise, MBWIND was recently present in Thanh Hai commune, Thanh Phu district, Ben Tre province in other to complete the Paint and Repair Blade project here.
In this project, MBWIND took responsibility for the following duties:
- Repairing 9 wind turbine blades.
- Checking Gelcoat, Grind and Paint condition.
- Inspecting and repairing fiberglass damage over the whole of the wind turbine blades.
Process of Paint and Repair Blade Project in Ben Tre Province – Vietnam
Similar to other projects, predicated on the actual situation, the construction site conditions, and existing problems, the project completion process could be divided into four main stages as follows:
Assessing The Wind Turbine Damage and The Construction Site Status:
This was the first and most important step in the overall project orientation, as well as building plans and preparing related documents for the project.
With specialized inspection methods, MBWIND could assess the condition of the wind turbine blades. As regards changes and deformations at the surface, we would recognize the corrosion status, cracking or deformation by other factors. The visual data was collected by the above manner on fracture, paint thickness, weld strength, corrosion level, hardness, material thickness, coating condition… and then we started to orientate the damage recovery procession.
Planning to Repair Wind Turbine Blades
Throughout the planning stage, we must consider the weather conditions, temperature of Ben Tre province, as well as topographical conditions, the vicinity of the construction area. Then, the plan was completed by combining those data with the analysis and conclusions of the evaluation process which we did before. The project plan included some key documents such as: blade diagram, tools list, materials, chemicals required, financial plan, budget, phased progress report and contingency plans and other relevant documents for Paint and Repair Blade Project in Ben Tre Province.
Carrying out the Wind Turbine Repair Project
After completing the preparatory phase, we began to repair the wind turbine blades. To ensure that the project rigorously went as planned, we always strictly monitored each process stage, meticulously in every operation step and recorded data and reported regularly. Principles of labor safety, construction safety, were strictly followed so as to make sure the project was completed on schedule.
Checking, Reporting, Following Up After Repairing Wind Turbine
After completing the main phases, we would accept the finished wind blades after repair. We compared the finished product with the original plan, and ensured that there are no errors or the possibility of any unexpected problems. And then, we hand over the completed project in the most perfect condition, with a warranty policy, and other after-sales incentives.
